QUALIFICATIONS -Community Living Approach Model (CLAM) program
Novus Orsa Ministries’ mission is to Engage, Equip and Empower young homeless adults (ages 18-24): singles, single mothers and fathers with children. Our vision is to help you rediscover and restore your lost dream. At the time of on- site-face to face interview or acceptance into the program, the applicant including children, must be present.
In a two-parent household, the couple must be legally married and able to provide a copy of their marriage certificate as verification. If you are not married, but are willing to be married if accepted into the program, please feel free to go through the application process.
Due to the nature of the program, we do not accept single mothers who are pregnant. Single mothers or fathers with newborns need to be willing for their newborn to be in childcare in order to successfully achieve employment.
Novus Orsa Ministries is not a shelter but a three years permanent housing program focused on helping you become self-supporting. We never want anyone to revisit the chapter of homelessness and thus we put a big emphasis on finding a job. This is a requirement within 120 days of applicant’s enrollment into the program.
